Story library

The concept for the digital storytelling library was inspired by the question: “How do you create a digital storytelling library?” Our goal was to create an inclusive design capable of accommodating all 27 youth stories with their unique themes and emotions.

We developed a digital universe that works on both computers and smartphones. Inspired by bookshelves, we created a digital prototype using Figma. Users have the ability to experience the cover of each story with a single click, much like they would with a physical book. This creates a kind of presentation that introduces each story, giving users a sense of the content and themes before they begin reading.

When opening a book in the digital storytelling library, users have an experience resembling flipping through the pages of a physical book. Eventually, they are introduced to the storyteller behind the work, similar to when finishing reading a real book.

The project is a collaboration with Nicklas Jacobsen.
